All of these social media sites are made by three things traffic, visitor experience, and the viral effect. As social networks evolve just like everything else on the net we will see a consolidation of networks functions and features into a few main websites, and those winners will determined by us the people. For me I have two uses for social networks where as most people have just one. I market products and services online so I view these sites as marketing mediums however I have to be careful of my marketing message based on the type of social network I’m on as well as the user experience that I have. So as all of these thing evolve it will be a overall combination of these factors that determine the winners. Just my two cents.
