Hello again, my social networking friend!
You don’t really know me. I don’t really know you. Yet I get requests to be added to virtual friendship add lists on a daily basis. This is what the internet has lead us to believe is important. If I have 7583 people on my friends list, then I MUST be somebody, right?
I wonder what this will make of our social skills later on in life. “MSN Speak” already has a death grip on modern culture, to the point where the next generation will adopt our idiocy as the de facto social language norm of this new century. It’s a cycle really, as we begin to communicate like monkeys to the point where, some day, we may end up throwing feces at each other just to get attention.
Ooooh! I gotta go! My MSN messenger friend just came online….
